The primary purpose of packing and crating is to protect the cargo from potential damage during transportation by land, sea, rail and air. Our expert packing solutions not only prevent cargo movement, we also offer cargo protection solutions to prevent damages from environmental causes such as moisture, frost, heat, etc.

Environmental protection can be accomplished by various methods including shrink wrapping (utilizing moisture-absorbing dessicant), vacuum packing (where contents are heat sealed into a waterproof aluminum foil cocoon), or by the use of Cortec® corrosion inhibiting products.
SHRINK wrapping
We can shrink wrap items for shipment by sea, road, or rail, protecting them with heavy-duty UV resistant plastic that seals off your precious cargo from environmental factors such as salt-laden sea air and road grime.​

VACUUM SEALING
We protect your shipment by utilizing a moisture/outgassing barrier consisting of a polyester/polyethylene laminate enclosing a layer of aluminum that will resist the transmission of water vapor and other atmospheric gases.
This economical, flexible and easy-to-fabricate material is used for passive humidity-controlled shipping. It can be glued or ironed to itself for lining case interiors, shipping crates etc to prevent passage of moisture. Due to one side of the material being polyethylene, it is easily heat sealed.
