Sufferance

Cratex facilities
We are pleased to announce our recent approval by Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) which authorizes Cratex to operate as a licensed sufferance warehouse facility (License No. 809 CW 5607).

Additionally, in order to comply with SOLAS mandated regulations concerning VGM (verified gross mass), we have installed the necessary weighing mechanisms to produce VGM certificates, which are required for all export containers as of July 1, 2016.

Our purpose-build facilities feature 4 acres of paved, fenced, and electronically-monitored storage with plenty of room for trucks to be loaded and unloaded. With a 31,000 sq. ft. indoor manufacturing and storage building equipped with the latest in modern packing technology, we can service our customers needs with speed and efficiency. Our experienced sales and office staff will monitor each shipment we handle to ensure it is completed to the satisfaction of our customer.

Transferring goods from one mode of transportation to another can save your business time and money, and is the best way to handle goods for import whenever possible. With our heavy lifting equipment, trained personnel, and modern facilities centrally located with easy access to Vancouver dock facilities and the Canada-US border, Cratex has become a preferred facility for de-stuffing containers and sending contents out via truck. Through our network of trusted carriers, we can also arrange for local container drayage as well as transportation to final destination.

In adding this new service to our existing services including export packing, containerization, import container transloading, local & long haul trucking, and short & long term storage, we are your one stop solution for your logistics needs.
